- Continued erosion, during heavy rains, a sink hole opens up in my front.Yard. despite efforts to fill it in after a few heavy rains and totally eighth three foot 56 foot hole opens up in my front yard.. it appears underground erosion goes underneath my driveway and through my front yard.. we have lost 4 to 6 inches of ground in the last ten years..
